A successful, meaningful and fun initiative was created by Xavier Catholic School in the Perth Archdiocese. Inspired by Pope Francis’ Inaugural World Day of the Poor, ‘The Pope’s Pyjama Party for the Poor (PPPP)’ captured the school community’s commitment to and solidarity with the Poor.
Both teachers and students showcased their favourite pyjama’s and ‘hi-fived’ Pope Francis (a life-size, cardboard cut-out of course). At the end of a day of fun and activity Xavier Catholic School raised $756.15 for Catholic Mission.
Thank you Xavier Catholic School.
The small school created a You Tube video to encourage other schools to do the same in support of Catholic Mission.
